Testimonials
I worked with Shri throughout his time at YP and enjoyed every minute of it. Shri is a natural people-person with an infectious positive attitude. He was handed many difficult situations and his soft-skills allowed him to always manage with grace, pulling people (direct reports, peers, bosses) together when they were at odds. He showed his ability to really roll-up his sleeves when it came to user-research, as we had no one on the team with the appropriate background or bandwidth to do it justice. Shri dug into this project and provided very detailed insights that were always customer-centric. He’s has a wealth of experience to share, but always willing to learn from others.
Shri joined the Rovi team as senior leader of the User Experience team and in this capacity played a critical role in defining and designing a variety of products in collaboration with my product team and other vertical managers. Many of the programs were already underway with incredible short timelines, complex resource challenges and constant flux in customer requirements (standard problem one would say but this was truly chaos). Shri was able with a skeleton team to bring sanity to the madness, provide a framework to ensure UX and design were adapted accordingly, delivered on time and still consistent with long term strategic goals. Shri brings a positive attitude, a focused and calm working style and domain knowledge that can be applied to both tactical and strategic initiatives. Shri would be an asset for any organization looking at building a deep UX practice to support product or advanced developments
Shri is one of the best people I’ve worked with in my career. I respect him for his passion and integrity, and his ability to bring the team together under very stressful situations. With his vast experience and knowledge in product design and user experience in general, he has helped us to focus on user centered design and motivated us to go beyond our goals. he’s a great inspiration to everyone in the team. As he was building our team, he’s created such a nurturing environment where the team members always felt comfortable to explore and share ideas. He’s a great mentor who supports the team members to realize their full potential. A great leader, a passionate designer, and a caring manager who would go above and beyond to promote his team and their ideas.
Shri is one of the most enthusiastic and driven people I’ve had the chance to work with/manage. He brings a genuine passion to everything he does and it shows in the attention to detail in all of his work. At Magellan, Shri was instrumental in designing and bringing to market, a leading-edge user interface that set the bar for how UIs should be done in high volume, consumer electronics devices. Shri was a real asset to the team and will be to anyone fortunate enough to work him in the future.
